Movie theater camera cell phone snapshots!

A pretty clever "Snakes on a Plane" standee I hadn't seen before... sorry you can't really read the small type-- damn cell phone cameras.

Is it just me or is this fucking ridiculous? I mean, I guess the 3-D version of "Monster House" is worth the extra money but c'mon-- $9 for a matinee? This isn't fucking IMAX.

Did you know that one of the most important shifts in telephone history was the launch of the first telephone satellite in July of 1962. TelStar was a joint venture between Bell and NASA and revolutionized telephone communications like nothing that had come before. Satellites in geosynchronous orbit could now be used for long distance calls without the need for laying endless lines of cable and did away with the problem of frequent cable damage and repair. Checkout Cell Phone Reception for more on this.
